It was widely expected that all of the next 12 Newcastle United matches would be chosen by broadcasters, however, that is no longer the case.
TV details are now known for all games until we get to February and ‘only’ 11 of the 12 Newcastle United matches will be shown live to a UK audience.
The FA making an official announcement today, covering the remaining TV choices that hadn’t been made public as yet.
In total, 22 of the 32 FA Cup third round matches have been selected, but Newcastle v Bournemouth is one of the ten left alone.
So it is set to go ahead at 3pm on Saturday 10 January 2026, untelevised.
Hopefully two more Newcastle United matches will be confirmed for live coverage shortly, if Newcastle get past Fulham on Wednesday night, the two legs of the semi-final would be available to be seen on live TV in the UK.
Today’s decision means that when we get to the end of January 2026, there will have been 20 of the last 22 Newcastle United matches (plus Carabao Cup semi-finals to be added, if winning against Fulham) that will have been shown by UK broadcasters.
